Im Ruth, I live in Kildare, I am a T.Y. student, and im really enjoying it, i dont want it to end at the end of May because I dont want to go into fifth year. This year is going way too fast! The thing I love most about T.Y. is that you get the chance to make new friends, and learn about yourself and others in the year. I love that this year is about project work and not as much focused on exams and studying, for that reason I would recommend it to everyone.
My favourite subjects are maths and technology. I love maths because I love working with numbers, and I love figuring out equations. I love technology because I enjoy making stuff, last year for the junior cert I made a bedside tidy which has a phone holder and a light which comes on in the dark. the circuitry had a L.D.R. which made the light turn on when low light levels were detected. I like home ec as well because I love cooking and baking. I want to be a chef when im older, and own my own restaurant and cookery school, I also want to write my own cook book.
My favourite sport is camogie, and I have been playing it for around 8 years. I play in goals which I like, but sometimes I dotn like it because I fell bad if I let in a goal.
I have a dog called Toby, he's two and I have had him since he was a puppy, i try to walk him everyday. I love dogs!!
